Meet Michael Hudson-Casanova Private Saxophone Lessons in Chicago for All Levels

Michael is active on the Chicago music scene as a gigging saxophonist and bandleader. He has over 15 years of professional experience teaching saxophone players of all ages and ability levels.

Michael has four albums of originally composed music released under his name, and he has been supported by Chicago's Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and the Illinois Arts Council Agency for his second album, Animus. In 2023, he was featured as a guest artist with the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra for their production of Charlie Parker With Strings

With degrees in music education and jazz studies from Western Michigan University and Temple University, Michael is an in-demand educator. In 2024, he created the Improvisation Excellence Program, which helps advancing saxophonists become more confident improvisers.
